Christopher DeNatale is a dedicated community leader, nonprofit executive, and current Napa City Councilmember committed to strengthening the quality of life for all residents.

Chris DeNatale was born and raised in Colma, California, and is a graduate of Saint Mary's College of California. He began his career in media marketing and event promotions, working with organizations including CBS, iHeartMedia, Granite Broadcasting, Entercom Communications, Cumulus Radio, and The SF Media Company, where he advanced to Vice President of Integrated Marketing.

More than two decades ago, Chris moved to Napa to raise his family and focus his career on nonprofit leadership. He currently serves as CEO of Arts Council Napa Valley and is Chair of the Napa County Arts and Culture Advisory Committee.

In January 2025, Chris was appointed to the Napa City Council. He also represents the City as a Director on the Flood Control and Water Conservation District Board. His prior community involvement includes roles with Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley, Lincoln Theater, and service on the City of Napa Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission. He is a proud graduate of Leadership Napa Valley, Class 30, where he produced This is My Brave, focused on empowering local voices to end mental illness stigma via storytelling.

Chris and his wife, Julia, a third-generation Napa resident, have three children: Joey, Bella, and Elianna.
